“Let’s Get Out of Town Mom!” Moments
Oh hellz yes! It was time to head out of town on an airplane! I almost didn’t even care WHERE we were going…I just know I needed to breathe in some air outside of Las Vegas. So we packed up and flew to Breckenridge, Colorado for a little ski vacay!!
Cooper and I even decided to bring the husband.
Three-way stare contest begins….now!
And gosh…I am now realizing that this is going to be a fairly yawn-worthy post because there were no all-girl pillow fights or drunken reenactments of Fight Club on this vacation. It was really just a few days of hanging out in the snow + relaxing in the cabin + and unplugging a bit from the world. I know, I know…totes lame.
But I did workout thanks to the fact that Beachbody now streams their workouts so that is semi-exciting. No?
And I DID have a beer (at elevation!) so that made me think making glasses for Cooper at lunch was HIL-AR-IOUS.
Back to Reality Moment
Came back from Colorado + picked up the dogs and they were obviously upset that we didn’t bring them as they proceeded to go on a toy bender and destroy as many of Cooper’s toys as possible before being caught.
RIP zoo animals. Especially you Mr. Tiger…it just isn’t right what happened to you.
**That look you get on your face when you are OVERWHELMED with joy + elation!!!**
I took this photo just after reading a message from a coach on my team who has been with me nearly 8 months. Her message??
“I just gave notice at my job!!!”
She will NOW be staying home full-time working on her coaching business + taking care of her two adorable children. Her income from helping people reach their fitness goals was surpassing her income as a nurse…so it made sense.
She is helping people + building a business + chasing her own dreams of living a WELL DESIGNED LIFE!! I am just so freakin’ stoked for her!! And the best part?! I know it won’t be the last email like this I receive this year from this amazing team. <3
Whether you are chasing YOUR DREAMS this weekend, going on your OWN vacation or just trying to unwind, I hope you have an incredibly wonderful few days!! Know that I appreciate you all so much!!
